Heather DeFranco ^MA

Heather combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and client-focused service to drive the firm's continued growth and exceptional client experience. In her role as President of Strategy and Operations, she supports the firm's advisors, leads key business operations, and guides the organization's overall strategic direction. She also actively directs marketing, community outreach, and client engagement initiatives. 

A 2006 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, Heather earned dual degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, along with a minor in International Studies. She furthered her education with a Master of Arts Degree in Security Management from the American Military University.

Heather began her career with the U.S. Department of Energy's prestigious Future Leaders Program (FLP). There she developed strong foundations in leadership, management, and organizational operations. She traveled extensively across the country, serving the Department of Energy as a Security Analyst for the National Nuclear Security Administration. 

In  2010, Heather founded Snapshot Photography, a successful boutique photography studio in Wheeling, West Virginia. Her entrepreneurial background and creative expertise continue to serve DeFranco Financial as she leads the firm's brand presence, digital communications, and client experience initiatives. 

As a licensed Financial Advisor, Heather is committed to helping clients pursue their financial goals while also strengthening the systems, culture, and service standards that define DeFranco Financial.  A proud mother of six, she is dedicated to her family, community, and creating meaningful experiences for clients and team members alike.
